Hello! My name is Dani, and first things first: thank you for your interest in this silly little project! If you're also looking to submit a card of your own,
you can do so here.
Please keep in mind that this whole thing is being organized by just two people, despite the fact that we intend to feature many creatives' works here, so patience and understanding as we continue fill the site would be greatly appreciated. Not all cards will be filled at first -- there are 78 cards in the classic tarot deck after all -- but we'd love for the community to fill as many of them as possible!
This venture would not have been possible without the minds of Moss (@WardenEater on twitter) and Jack (@gothcartel2 on twitter), both of whom facilitated discussions n ideas about a 'repository' of sorts for the cards that people make, with a function to draw a card for themselves from those posed... so I thought why not give it a shot? Turns out it's not as hard as we thought! I'm just the one doing the technical lifting (although I, too, have posed my own cards), but you can find me on @greatswards on twitter as well!

The Fool is interpreted as the protagonist of a story, and the major arcana are the path the Fool takes through the great mysteries of life.

card by @eliguydesan.
The Fool symbolizes new beginnings and having faith for the future, putting your best foot forward and not being afraid to take the leap. If you're hesitant or scared to do something, The Fool invites you to do it anyway, to do it scared but willing to try. This idea is Elinor's primary drive throughout his time adventuring; no matter how hard it gets, even in the deepest depths of despair, there's still that little reminder for him to take the next step.BONUS: associated song!

My character, Ephraim, is very much symbolized by the fool. Specifically, he's got that almost reckless sense of wonder and curiosity about the world, despite its hardships, he's blind to seeing the harsh reality of it all. The Fool is typically represented as a sort of jester-esque figure walking with nothing but a satchel about to fall off a cliff, but in my interpretation (inspired by a beautiful tarot card design on dA) The Fool is nude, covered by a sheer drape, walking among nature. The nudity (which, in my gpose, he's wearing safety shorts) is a metaphor for baring one's heart in the open and for being unguarded from the harshness of the world. Above him are plants, and dappled sunlight shines on his bare skin, yet he remains unaware that the branches he walks on are brambles and thorns. One small misstep means pain is sure to be present. On a personal level, I love that the Fool both represents the start and the end of a journey, if you see it from both sides.

Velka has an intense relationship with the unconscious mind, and whenever she takes a part of someone into herself she becomes more like them. There's a constant war between her and the many dream realities her time-addled mind has created.I liked the motifs of the pillars that are on the typical HP card because Gelmorra makes strong use of them in it's architecture. I also like to think of her as being reverent to a religion that has been forgotten by most that venerates the safety of the depths of the earth and fears the elementals above.

The High Priestess traditionally sits between two pillars: one black and one white. The two pillars symbolize duality— masculine and feminine, darkness and light. Between them is a veiled space, separating the conscious and subconscious realms, the seen and unseen. The High Priestess is the keeper of these dualities, and the path between. In this depiction, Zlayer serves as the High Priestess in her unfettered, unbound form. The top-rung voidsent situates herself on a throne between an Avatar and a Sineater, polarities of dark and light given flesh. She is in tune with both modes, and occupies the space between with her knowing. Behind them, a void portal looms as a reminder of other worlds and her ability to traverse between shards. Her power is implicit— in the dark mist seething from her robe, in the ability to suspend a moon in her hands, in the conjured aetherial tear, in the safeguarded tome— one need not ask for an explicit demonstration of her power.
UPRIGHT: divine feminine, sensuality, fertility, nurturing, creativity, beauty, abundance, nature
REVERSED: nsecurity, overbearing, negligence, smothering, lack of growth, lack of progress

The choice for the card was due to its themes of love and success- as of 6.5- Sappho is happy with a loving girlfriend in Zero and is recovering from Endwalker and all that came before. Her path is looking up, and even reversed has good fortune, and the card also represents femininity, and Sappho is Hyper-Feminine so that matched well.As for the card itself, the elpis blooms and planet behind her representing her triumph over all that was ENW and before. She holds her red mage weapon proudly, and with the focus attached to make a staff as reference to the posing of a lot of other Empress tarot cards. She also has the azem symbol behind her head- its supposed to mimic the holy halos in older christian art while also being related to fourteen and her as a shard of Azem. But the underlying reason to all of this was I just thought it looked really cool.

The Emperor most closely relates to Remember's strongest values of being a hero, as well as the driving force behind them being a paladin---they seek to protect and to defend, to be a pillar of stability for those in need, and isn't afraid of confronting any challenges to those ideals. The Emperor symbolizes the most positive parts of masculinity, which Remember embodies to the fullest as the Warrior of Light.

"What is taught as truth and doctrine must be unlearnt as you discover that your path is your own."Zindelo's entire character arc so far has been the movement from what The Hierophant represents towards its reversed version.

card by @gravyffxiv.
My OC, Gravy, was brought into a life of tradition and mindless dogma. It took her too long to break free from it, and the concept of simply following something because it's always been like that is abhorrent for her. She believes everyone must question that which is placed upon them by elders or those that come before them, and really look for the way it feels right for them. That is why the card being reversed was chosen, even if I did make the card to work on the regular position. The style of it also connects to her own use of technology to break free from her past, and how she looks to the future and the immense possibilities of advanced technology to guide everyone further. With the Hierophant having two other characters with him, I considered it fitting to choose two that are actually one (Omega-F and M), another way to break with tradition.

like harmony, like heart — yours and mine, as one.the lovers card depicts a deep connection & understanding between people. in my card, you can see my wol (nouri) and venat touching one another’s faces in understanding while nouri clutches a dagger in hand that venat tenderly holds. nouri & venat are deeply aware of their place with one another and within the cycle and their promise to one another, to wait for one another through the millennia and meet again. they have a clear, holy, absolute trust and love towards one another and their purpose.
